The Tale Of Yakuzas
The journey to creating the 'Yakuza Threads' started back in 2018 when this was just an idea to bring new & different cultures clothing to India that we've been missing but this stayed as an idea because the 'Yakuza Boss' didn't have the berries or the crew for execution and was left with the idea until... Oct'2025.
In retrospect the timings between the idea to the execution became a blessing in disguise because with time India's love for different culture grew and so did the ideas & vision for this brand and it allowed us to bring in the niche flavor which most brands would not touch. Let us call this The Dirty Work - the forbidden desires for designs which most won't accept or make because it is too different from the mainstream crowd and that's exactly the reason We formed YAKUZA THREADS.
The Dirty Work Saga
We do the dirty work which most avoid, we bring the most niche designs to life from cultures that we know well like anime - combat sports - movies - new gen culture and you would wonder who is this cocky founder who thinks he knows better or what credibility does he have to do this? well let me give you a little intro on me, I've worked in a lot of different fields from corporate to aviation & hospitality to tech & marketing while traveling the world and indulging in more cultures known to an average person and with absolute no knowledge of clothing I started this from scratch - I had to learn about fabrics & sourcing of it to stitching & printing and every damn thing about a clothing business unlike most big brand founders who just make stuff without a thought or connection to their customer - We are different, we know our partners in crime, our cultured 'Yakuza Mafia' because we are the same as our mafia - we like the same things - we wear the same style and we are all missing the change in our wardrobe and Yakuza Threads has decided to be the honored ones to make it a reality.
The Future Hope
We are still a work in progress perfecting our craft & art, while learning and evolving anew everyday - We aspire to deliver high quality products with different sense of style & designs infused & inspired from your fav characters who nobody thinks of or from niches which are too bold or weird for people/ brands. Here's one honest promise tho we would never try to sell something that We - Ourselves wouldn't want to wear and with time we will just get better.
